Jacqueline graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Masters of Finance, and built her career in investment banking before transitioning full time into the world of entrepreneurship. She co-founded Tanoti Sdn Bhd, a company working to pursue heritage preservation via women empowerment and rural community building. Between herself and her co-founder, Tanoti has blossomed from a small weaving workshop to a highly influential social enterprise which is revolutionising the crafts industry, giving it the hope to survive and thrive in the present generation and beyond.
Tanoti has received recognition for their work in delivering social impact with the British Council Arthur Guinness Projects Entrepreneur for Good People's Choice Award 2014 and MaGIC Amplify Award 2015. This craft atelier is also making a mark for itself with its products winning the World Crafts Council Awards of Excellence for Handicraft 2014 and 2016.
